This weekend Matt and I went on a bike ride on one of the MANY bike trails in the Springs.Here's Matt loading up the bikes on his Mazda! Oh! And that is our apartment behind him. I realized I never put outside pics of the apartment up...so here is a two for one!

This is where we got on the bike path in the Springs. But this particular bike trail goes all the way from Pueblo to Monument! If we had not started so late in the day we would have liked to take it up to Monument. We heard there is a great little ice cream store there...and then it's smooth sailing all the way

This is where we turned around by the Air Force Academy. Sorry there aren't more spectacular photos...we were kind of busy riding! We are excited to try out some other trails as well as take this one further.
And not to worry, we picked up bike helmets the following day. So no more unsafe riding! It's either really popular out here, or it's the law because we didn't see one rider who wasn't wearing one! But we wanted to look around for cheap ones, so we didn't have them for our first few rides.
