Just to hold you over...

I thought I would post a few quick pictures of Nathan! Nathan's in bed...and we should be too but we're not yet. I went in his room to put something away and found him like this.
Photobucket
I know some of you like the sleeping pictures! For some reason he likes to sleep with his appendages sticking out of the crib :)

Playing earlier today.
Photobucket

Ok, I was going to end it here, but I will go ahead and post a few more. Nathan got to bed late after small group anyway...so maybe I can get him to sleep in...so I can sleep in! :)

He loves this water bottle. He is all about straws...sucking and blowing on them.
Photobucket

Taking a walk last week.
Photobucket

One of Matt's favorite parts of being a dad...
Photobucket
...he loves carrying Nathan in when he's sleeping on his shoulder :)

This kid loves remotes, and buttons and all things electronic.
Photobucket

Bath time with daddy.
Photobucket

He is hard to hold on to in the tub! He just lunges towards his toys :)
Photobucket

Playing with his basketball hoop.
Photobucket

Photobucket

Yayyy!!!
Photobucket

Photobucket

Ooops. One got away!
Photobucket

Ok, that's it for now. Got to go to bed. 'Night!

New Videos

A few weeks ago...Nathan playing peek a boo with Mommy in the pack 'n play

Matt was having some technical difficulties so he just got that one up. But check back for Nathan learning to blow in a straw and make a whistling noise. He loved it!

May's Peak

On Saturday, we did a new hike...May's Peak.

Nathan, ready to go
Photobucket

He just makes us smile :)
Photobucket

He gets so happy every time he is on Daddy's back or shoulders!
Photobucket

Family picture before the hike.
Photobucket

Photobucket

Mommy has to be in a picture by herself since Nathan is on daddy's back already. So I choose to be by the car!

Photobucket

Trying to capture the view...unsuccessful.

In the mouth with the strap! Surprising.
Photobucket

Moving aside for bikers.
Photobucket

Come ON, Daddy & Mommy!
Photobucket
At least he's not old enough to protest yet :) I always did to my parents!

Lookout and where we turned around.
Photobucket

Photobucket

Taking a break...
Photobucket

...for lunch!
Photobucket

It started out good, but then got ugly. Next time, we will stick to finger foods! :)
Photobucket

He is so content and secure in this carrier!
Photobucket

Out cold. :)

Welcome Home Michael!

As I mentioned in the previous post, Michael returned home from Afghanistan! Our small group went to the Colorado Springs airport to welcome him home. Nathan and I made some posters for the event. (Actually, Nathan kept trying to put the stars in his mouth and I kept trying to redirect his attention so I could make them!)
Photobucket
Matt picked up the 4th of July garland at Wal-Mart after the holiday and I made leis and bracelets with them :) Nathan was intrigued by them and kept trying to get them!

At the airport waiting...
Photobucket
Michael's plane was delayed.

Dale looking cute with a sign to greet her man!
Photobucket

Good time for us all to catch up with Dale!
Photobucket

Ready with our signs.
Photobucket

Trying to convince Dale to let us hide her when Michael arrives and then have her run through our "tunnel" to jump into his arms!
Photobucket

She didn't go for it. :)
Photobucket

Still ready...
Photobucket

Michael's Commander's wife took a picture so we could all be in it.
Photobucket

Getting excited! (and nervous)
