Just playing with my boy while Nathan napped on Thursday.
And helping me with laundry.

Mom: Don't you just love Jumbo in the background? Matt's is threatening to put him in the basement! :)
And then he's done! This is hard work!
This is that same night after Matt came home from work and we ate dinner. The boys really enjoy playing in the basement. Here's a link to a video of Josh chasing Nathan's police car (you can hear it hailing in the background) and Nathan playing baseball!

That same night it continued to storm really loudly and Nathan didn't like it. So we let him come down and lay on the couch while Matt did documentation for work and I was doing some work on the computer (probably this blog!)
He was so sweet cuddled up with Jumbo...although he couldn't stop chatting with us the whole time! :) But he was being really cute watching the lightning in the play room from this couch. Not scared at that point, he just kept asking us, "Did you see that?"
So the next day was Friday, when we went on the jeep ride and to Louie's with Kyle & Jen for Nathan's birthday. And then this is the Saturday morning before Nathan's birthday. It was nice out so he got his water gun out that Mark & Rosie got him for his 2nd birthday.
And daddy mowed the lawn so we didn't have to do it during Nicole's wedding week!

This was so funny! Matt was taking the picture of Josh and me so Nathan copied him. "Mommy, I'm taking your picture! Look here!" :)
The boys and I headed inside while daddy weed eated/sting trimmmed/whatever it's called! They watched from the door :)
So, I didn't really take pictures here, but that evening we went to Ashley's house for an open house event. Her parents were in town so she invited a lot of people over to come and have a taste of St. Louis (her hometown) food and meet her sweet parents! It was good to see a lot of friends, but between keeping the boys close, feeding them, feeding us and navigating around everyone, photos just didn't get taken! Except for this one of Ashley's dad playing a game with Nathan in front of her townhouse.
Nathan's always up for a social outing :)
