Family Pictures

I mentioned we had our family pictures on the Monday after Labor Day.  This photographer that Jen & Kyle went to high school with was booked through the end of the year when I called her...and then she said she could do Labor Day because she was off.  So we took her up on it!  I think knowing Jen got us in :)

Shannon Coker Photography.  She did an awesome job.  She worked hard to earn Nathan's trust to get some good shots of him.  He didn't make it easy!   I'm so happy with her work, there are already large photos from the shoot hanging in our living room!

She gave us 346 images!  Here's a link to 138 of them so I don't totally overwhelm you :)

She was trying so hard to have Nathan put his arms around our shoulders...he just wasn't going for it!


















I can't believe she actually got some of Josh.  He was not happy to be on that blanket by himself!  But then in the middle of tears he would do "so big" for us and smile!


This is all I thought she'd end up with!




A pictures worth 1000 words.  Nathan found this little green ball at the beginning of the session and then lost it when she was trying to get him to laugh for a picture.  And he was way too distracted about this dumb ball!  And the deer that showed up out of nowhere! ha ha.  When we were saying goodbye he went up to her to show her his ball and she snapped this :)


We went to YoYogurt afterward because that was our bribe for Nathan to cooperate for pictures!  (This was recommended in Shannon's welcome packet!)  Then we went to Freddy's for burgers and fries and Josh ate like a horse!  Maybe that's why he was upset on the blanket alone?  We fed him right before pictures but he had just woken up from a nap and I wonder if his hunger hadn't set in! Oh well.  We took some pictures at both these restaurants but I just realized in all of the months activities and photo taking...I accidentally deleted them.  Oh well!  Hope you enjoyed the snaps!  I was thrilled to have Shannon capture this moment in our little family's life :)
