The celebration started early with Friday night (Nathan's birthday was Sunday) with the VanHorn's! Jamin wanted to take Nathan on a ride in the jeep!
So cool!
Nathan was talking all day about what cars he was going to bring to share with Jamin on the ride.
They guys ahead of us on the way to Louie's!
It's actually ended up being Landin & Nathan up there. Landin wanted to stay in the jeep and Jamin wanted to come with us!
Oh, Louies, how we love how you taste!
Jamin got Nathan a horse ride for his birthday! All 3 older boys in are small group, Jamin, Nathan & Grady, are going to go together to this really neat place out by Jen & Kyle's. It's Christian owned by "Cowboy Larry" and Jen said it is a really neat and fun experience! And how cute is the envelope Jamin made Nathan? Those 2 boys are just two cute together. I love this picture that Kyle took after Matt's birthday celebration.
Sorry Jen! But I didn't think you look bad at all with pizza in your mouth and Landin has the cutest grin on his face beside you!
Nathan was "driving" the jeep while Kyle made it bounce up and down :) Here is a video. Nathan kept wanting his shopping list for somewhere.
Nathan had a great night! Thanks for making him feel special Kyle, Jen, Jamin & Landin!
Sunday morning Nathan opened some gifts from Pappy & Grandma.
An Eagles hat!
And jersey.
And a birthday card with an airplane to punch out and play with.
Mommy reading the card...
and punching out the plane.
Test flight :)
He wanted pancakes at McDonalds. But we missed the 10:30 cut off by 2 minutes! We always forget what time they stop serving breakfast! Showing off his fries instead.
My big 3 year old.
A motorcycle launcher from my dad and mom that we made him wait to open until after McDonalds!
He loves it.
On Sunday, Dad & Mom Witt, Courtney, Rosie and Mom's cousin, Carrie finished their trip to Colorado Springs to prepare for Nicole's wedding the following weekend. So they stopped in that afternoon before heading to Woodland Park where they rented a house.
Papa & Nana got Nathan a BIG gift this year!
This awesome hoop.
Aunt Court came bearing lots of gifts. This is his picnic food set.
Keeping with the basketball theme...
He actually picked this out at Sam's. It's a giant layered and iced chocolate chip cookie. Sinfully delicious! And the party stuff he picked out at Target.
Aunt Court reading the CARS book she got for Nathan with sound effects!
Loving the hoop after Papa and daddy got it set up.
Blowing out the candles.
Later we noticed his eyelashes were singed on one side! Oops!
Nana showing him how old he is.
Me and the birthday boy :)
Love him so much!
Playing some hoops with daddy.
Showing us his "slam dunk ummerwear"
This is exactly what he did for Pappy & Grandma on facetime too!
Showing us a slam dunk!
