I figured out how to get Nathan to play outside on his own...
Give him an audience!
Josh enjoyed his fluffer nutter while Nathan entertained him. Nathan was chatting away to Josh as he played and kept running up to the window to say something to him face to face!
That was Friday. That night when Matt got home we ate dinner and then took the boys to the fountain in a neighborhood near us. It was a cool evening...but not too cold! Fall is in the air :) So we put hats on the boys and shoes on Josh. He wasn't thrilled with the shoes and did THIS until he yanked them off in the car!
Nathan showing us him "exercising"!
Josh, one of the best audiences around!
He's so funny. He puts his arms up like this all of the time...even when you don't ask how big he is! :)
So big!
Nathan throwing rocks into the water.
My guys!
Josh walking..with a little help :)
Love watching these two together!
Watching the fountain.
Then this morning we went to our gym's pool for our last outdoor swim of the season! It's a beautiful day! Matt and I dropped the boys off at the kids club for awhile to go to the hot tub, down the slides and just be in the sun and hang out. Then we went to get them to swim! They loved it.
Nathan pushing Josh around in his float!
Mommy and the boys in the lazy river.
A friend of ours and fellow Physical Therapist of Matt's, Rory, moved to Denver earlier this year. She was so sweet and sent us a $20 Villa gift card they wouldn't me able to use since they moved. So we got a free lunch today! Great burgers.
Matt just got home from work. He was only scheduled for one patient today so our boys barely missed him! Josh was up for a little with me but Nathan's still sleeping and went down before he left.
So that was my test post without using Photobucket for pictures. It took way longer than I would like, but maybe I could get faster at it as I get used to the HTML formatting. I don't think I will do anything with the old posts at this point. So on October 1st, my bandwidth resets meaning you can go back and check old posts you might have missed due to that error message coming up this month. I did so many posts in September which might be part of the problem. The other part could be the slideshows I had up of our family pictures and Nicole's wedding. I took those down in case it was a contributing factor. Hope you all are having a great weekend! Matt, Sonya, Nathan & Josh XO

Can't See Photos
Sorry family and friends. Apparently, I have hit my allowed bandwidth for the month. Meaning there have been too many views of the photos I post that are actually stored on Photobucket. I need to talk to Matt and decide what we should do. I don't know what my options are...or if there are any better options over paying for an account to keep up with all of this. Donations? :)
Anyway, you won't be able to see the pictures on my blog (at least for the rest of this month) until I get it figured out. Sorry!

September Days at Home & Castle Rock
Nathan making pudding on "guys night" while Mommy hung out with Karla and her daughter Andrea. We watched old home movies of them at home on their farm in Iowa!
Reading Nathan a new library book outside before nap time. It was the first sunny day in awhile so we wanted to be out in it! We went to the library that morning...which I suppose could have been done on a rainy day. Nathan loves the library.
Cutie.
Sometimes he makes faces like his while telling me a something. Looks like he still has jelly from him PB&J on his mouth!
The other day I went to get Josh up and he was being so cute that I went to get my camera. He wasn't thrilled with me leaving...which is why he looked like this when I came back!
Peek-a-boo mommy!
There's a smile!
"Who did that??"
He loves to throw his dog overboard as if to say, "I'm not napping!" or "I'm DONE napping!"
I'm innocent.
It can be hard to change his diaper on his dresser these days!
Having a cheese stick and shaking it all around!
He thought it was so funny to do this. Chicken, cheese and peppers...the lunch of champions.
Taking Josh for a ride in the dump truck.
Nathan in his boots again. There so versatile. Go with anything. :)
The new family photos in the play room.
Both my kids love edamame! I know, I hardly believe it myself!
We have had lots of rain and a crazy and destructive amount of flooding in Colorado lately. Very sad. So many more homes lost as well as lives than the fires caused. All we had was a little bit of water in the basement from our window well filling up. The rug that was there pretty much contained it though.
Our small shop vac did an awesome job sucking the water out.
The rug completely dried in just a day or two after getting a lot of the excess water out.
The boys certainly didn't mind an excuse to go to the basement and play. Neither did Matt...as he worked on his shot on Nathan's new hoop!
Oops. I thought I was done and then found some photos from last Saturday when we ran up to Castle Rock outlets. That's why I added "& Castle Rock" to the post title!
Loaded up in the car. Josh loves to be forward facing!
And we love when he naps like this in his comfy seat :)
After we left the outlet, we went to Good Times Burger & Fries to eat. We don't have one in the Springs anymore so it's a treat!
At this point I'm just messing with my camera settings and taking photos.
Sometimes I'm amazed at how little I know about about some of the manual settings. So I was playing around trying to figure things out. Great subjects to work with though!
His furrowed brow look! He's watching another baby. Trying to figure something out!
I love this sweet face.
I know it would be good to read a book or take a class on photography...but I don't have the patience. I really love just playing around with it!
Okay, I think we're caught up now! Three new ones tonight if you don't want to miss any.
