Grandma Liz Visits

Josh got to see her first since Nathan was still sleeping. He loved going in the backyard with her all week long.

Relaxing on the couch and watching his movie.

Guess who's up? Going through her suitcase to see if he might find something interesting :)

Aha!

He was supposed to decided between 3 of these animals from Curious George...dinosaur, George, and a moose we pulled out later. I bet you'll never guess what ended up happening.

I told him to tell Grandma she could take Jumbo home with her since he got new animals. He actually did tell her that! :) She couldn't believe it. Of course, he reneged later.

Crazy pj's Grandma bought for the boys. She actually told the cashier jokingly that her daughter would love them. I guess she went to take them back when we found other ones and realized she got such a good deal on them, it wasn't worth it! Of course, they loved them. I've lost control. ha.

Peek-a-boo

Me peeking out at mom and Josh from the window. She was playing with him so I could get my monthly slides done for work! It only takes about 3 hours a month, but sometimes it's hard to get done!

Sunday we went to the Eagles/Broncos game while mom watched the boys. I'll post pics of that in the next post.

This is that evening after we got home. Watching the Sunday night football game.

Silly kid hiding from the camera.

He loves his story time with Grandma.

Hey, it's late. Why not make pumpkin chocolate chip cookies? We didn't want to put Nathan to bed when Josh went down since he wasn't with us all day. He didn't complain. :)

Yes, he's wearing his fireman coat (when we took it off later we found his head soaked with sweat!) and yes, Grandma is letting him spoon out the cookie dough himself.

Grandma getting ready to go to the airport. Nathan came over to me and said, "nope, Jumbo doesn't fit in Grandma's suitcase!"

How convenient.

Love for Grandma.

Mom was pulling away and Nathan started crying, "I never got to say goodbye!" So she pulled back in and gave him some extra love.

He was satisfied with this.

Although for a few days after this he would say, "I want Grandma!" when waking up from his nap. I'm thankful for the love of ALL of the grandparents in his little life...and Josh's.

Aww I am so happy for Grandma Liz to be there and get some hugs. Nothing better huh Liz? The boys looked so cute in their matching pajamas.
