Date Night on a Helicopter!

Saturday night Matt and I went on a helicopter ride over Colorado Springs, courtesy of Nicole & Courtney. They gave it to us in Keystone for our birthdays/anniversary. It was extremely generous!

Here we are waiting for our sunset ride. I'm holding the packaging or our certificate!

We realized we were going to miss sunset because they were running a little behind. The lady there told us the night flights were really nice, especially because of the Christmas lights. So we took her advice and left for dinner at Jose Muldoon's. We scheduled the flight for a few hours later. I'm showing off my new boots here. Jen got these at Target and wore them for Jamin's one year pictures. I saw them on clearance the other day and decided to end my brown boot search! She has good taste :)

You can see this flight landing right around sunset.

After a delicious dinner we came back and boarded for our night flight!

It was SO awesome! The Broadmoor and Seven Falls were both all lit up in Christmas lights.

The pictures just don't do it justice. Because of this, he advised us to just enjoy the flight and look at pictures on their website later. Check Colorado Vertical out here.

The pilot was super nice and told us some stories of guys proposing in the sky. We were wearing the head sets so we talked to each other through them.

He even took a few pictures for us!

It was really fun. We ended our date by going to Lowe's and Home Depot. Romantic, right? It's fun checking stuff out at these places when you know your getting ready to move into a house! Dad & Mom were nice enough to watch Nathan for us. (We really had to talk them into it...ha!) It sounded like Nathan had a great time eating with them at 5 Guys. And then going back to their hotel for a swim! Hopefully, Nana took a few pictures. When we got home, he was in bed :)
