Modge Podge...Including Thanksgiving and More Decorating

I've got to finish up November so I'm throwing a bunch of photos in this post and not caring about order. So here's a bunch...from my camera and my phone.

I think this was pre-cooking of my small group potluck contribution.  Green bean and corn casserole.  Easy Peasy!

Some random day Nathan wanted his underwear on his head.

Showing me his crazy "underwear head" hair!

Watching Sarena's little boy Daniel while she went to the dentist.  Check out Josh stealing his Cheerios!

And this is AFTER Josh already ate and got down!

Josh giving Daniel a ride :)

Nathan helping Matt shovel the sidewalk.

Our Advent Countdown.

Every card is supposed to have a scripture reading (from Nathan's Children's Bible) that leads up to the birth of Christ, and an activity for the day.  Could be giving to someone, or buying something (like an ornament), or doing a craft, baking cookies, etc.

I say "supposed to" because I don't fill out the cards until the night before and lately "just before" he opens them.  It's hard to know that far in advance what we're going to get into!

Nathan always talks about opening Christmas Day's card!

One of his crafts at VillaKids the week of Thanksgiving!

Matt worked on Thanksgiving Day.  We were really grateful for holiday pay and a great day anyway.  the boys and I went to the gym in the morning...where Nathan ran into Jamin, and I did to Jen :)  Then we hit up Boston Market for dinner.

Someone loved it!

He was being so funny!

The rotisserie chicken (what we wanted and came for) was like a 30 minute wait so we got like 6 sandwiches out of the deal from a catering order that was never picked up!  Matt, cutting the chicken!  Josh looking like he's trying to get in the photo :)

Matt said all he wanted on Thanksgiving was apple cider and pumpkin pie.  Done!  I love how easy he is to please :)

Matt changing out our garbage disposal.  The original one was done (and leaking!)  Josh "helping".

Nathan posing with his cards.

Oh yeah, our Christmas cards!

Great!!! Matt is the one that likes pumpkin pie. We had to buy one for our Thanksgiving because Nicole was gone but we thought they liked it. Grandpa was the only one who ate any of it so we brought it home. It was delicious. It was a Marie Calendars. Yours looks good and festive.

Those cards are a really cute idea. Where do you get all your good ideas?

Thanks Grandma. Probably Pinterest and then made it work for us! :)
