Advent Envelopes

A few of our "activities" from the Christmas countdown envelopes!

Christmas tree and snowflake ice cubes!  Nathan loves these :)

Thank you Target dollar section!

This was a snowman kit that you could make 20 snowmen with!

We sent some of them out to family and friends in our Christmas cards this year.  Nathan thought the were the coolest.

Here Nathan is making a countdown chain.

He loves his scissors and cutting things, so it seemed like a good idea to let him cut a ring off everyday.  I remember doing this growing up.

Randomly sitting on his race track.  Nathan used to do this too.  Surprised it hasn't broken yet! Our playtime while Nathan naps.

Later than night, putting the strips of paper into links.  I couldn't find my stapler earlier that day...so we had to go get one after daddy got home from work.

Josh like the rings :)

We decided to just loop it around our light fixture.

Cutting his first link!

Who's that cutie in the corner in the dinosaur pj's?

Someone teasing Josh with his dog.  Josh and I are walking up the stairs to give them baths before their naps.  It was a PJ kind of morning.  Nathan loves being in his pajamas.

How about some somersaults and playing in the closet before bath time?

They did finally take a bath :)

I think Nathan was "cleaning" Josh's bottom here.  ha ha.  He's such a big help!

Well, the activity in the envelope said "mail Christmas cards" so who cares if it's a blizzard out...Nathan would prefer to drive to the post office then walk across the street to mail them!

So thankful for a vehicle that does very well in the snow!

Nathan loved mailing from the post office!

Oh yeah, here's a snowman Nathan made for Jamin, up close!  He really did put all of the items on him except for the wording! I did ask him what he wanted it to say and he said, "I buv Jamin!"  He also said he wanted to make the snowman sad because he was going to Jamin's house!  What?? ha ha!  He says he likes to make snowmen sad!

We still have our snowmen on the glass of the secretary.
They are so cute and make us smile.
