We have some more up for your view pleasure:
1) Swinging with Nana and Nicole
2) Shooting the golf ball with daddy (from his mouth).
3) "More Train Track!" with daddy.
4) Nathan's Words. Mommy looking at a book with Nathan called "First 100 Words" that Grandma Liz got him awhile ago. We recorded this so you could hear some of his words. It seems he is adding words by the day and it's so fun conversing with him as he learns to combine several words together!
5) Jamin & Nathan eating lunch and cracking each other up :)

What is going on???
I'm a little stressed lately. It's beginning to be a wearing 3rd trimester. I'm so much more worn out and tired this time than when I was pregnant with Nathan! It goes to show that working a full time job is not as tiring as raising a toddler! We have a lot going on before we welcome our second son into the world. Matt works 3 more weekends before then, we have our anniversary, Matt's birthday, Nathan's birthday, family pictures and more in August. Nathan has been crying in his crib for probably 15 minutes when we put him to bed...what??? He decided to revert now? And last night he woke up shortly after Matt and I fell into bed and would not go back to sleep in his crib.
We have projects to finish up before the baby comes too but we are both always too tired to do them! What is wrong with us? Most people work a lot more hours (like ALL weekends and much longer days) and the wives work as well! Please tell me, how do you do it?
Anyway, I'm not trying to complain, just giving you a little snapshot of our lives right now and asking for prayer as you are the closest friends and family to us. I already feel better, probably because Nathan has stopped crying and has most likely fallen asleep! Matt is finishing up work and I just need to relax and formulate a plan to enjoy the coming weeks and not cram too much in as we want to enjoy these last two months or less as a family of three. Maybe throw the family pictures out the window? Is there a rule saying you need to do them every year?
Lots of love to you all. I know our problems are so minor and our God is great.
Just had a good laugh with Matt at how I can balance my cup of ice on my belly as I type this post :)

Saturday...Hiking, Shower & Blocks
On Saturday morning, Matt, Nathan and I met Nicole at Ute Valley Park for a light walk/hike. With me being pregnant, I don't need a lot for a workout these days! So this park is a great place to go. Plus, after it being so close to being in danger of getting wiped out from the fire, we wanted to go there.
Getting Nathan's pack ready.
Nicole wanted to put it on to see how heavy it was.
Then she wanted to actually carry Nathan for awhile! He's no light load with him weighing 30 pounds alone!
Not much of a workout for Matt...but great workout for Nicole!
Little tree decorated for the 4th of July!
Checking out the areas burned and saved.
This is right before it got a bit too steep for my comfort...my belly has certainly shifted my center of balance!
Letting Nathan out at the end to walk. I think his little legs fell asleep. He was walking really funny!
He still does really well being carried up on this thing.
Chasing his aunt!
Hikers!
We went home, showered and then left Nathan to nap at home with Nicole while we went to Andrew & Brittney's shower! The men at the shower...thrilled to be invited! :)
Even little Landin made it!
Brittney's sister did a great job with decorations! Their baby is going to be named "Jonah" so she had a theme going on!
Craig & Mandi
Game time.
Kyle & Matt taking their jobs seriously.
Craig ate the arm off of Jonah!
So excited for these two!
Brittney & I. I'm 31 weeks. She's 29 1/2
We should have put Jen in this picture with Landin in her arms!
Gift time.
Diaper bag, various items for in bag, and gift card from small group.
Brittney's family.
Very excited grandparents! This will be their first grandchild!
Playing blocks with Daddy & Aunt Nicole when we got home before we needed to head out and run some errands.
Quite the tower!

A Silly Boy
He does like to entertain...himself and others! Often he puts our underwear over his head when I'm doing laundry, but I thought this would be a better picture so the world didn't have to see our unmentionables!
Here he is wearing my tank top and shorts.
He is a ham...
Probably me taking his picture only eggs him on!
Oh my.
Outside getting ready to take a walk.
We got him a little back pack that he loves.
We love the little handle on the back...we can grab him quick when he starts to dart off! :)
Mommy also likes that he can carry her keys and phone in it for our walk :) Really comes in handy especially when he decided he wanted her to carry him back! Putting him on my shoulders helped to even out the weight distribution with my big belly in the front...but still!
Resting.
That spot was too sunny. I think I will move my chair into the shade.
He loves that this backpack has orange on it.
He has got the color "orange" down pat. Still working on the others.
Very off-centered but very cute face!
I think he was saying "cheese!"
Picking berries.
He still likes to sit on this thing, and somehow, it still hasn't broke yet!
He was pointing out the window at "Rudy's truck!" Our neighbor has a big truck, and his uncle does as well. When Rudy's uncle is in his truck and Nathan is outside he will rev it up just for him. Nathan LOVES it. Nathan revs right along with the truck!

Landin Elijah
They picked a name! Landin Elijah VanHorn was born on Tuesday, July 17th, at 8:30 am! He was 8lb 8oz and 22inches long. How cute is he?
Jen is doing great!
Jamin is adjusting so well! He likes to help by bringing his baby brother diapers!
These two were cracking each other up when we went over to visit.
Love them. Can't believe we are both having boys again! I'm shooting for having our baby on September 18th (3 days early) so they can be exactly 9 Weeks apart again just like Nathan and Jamin :) ha ha!
