For some reason, Nathan decided it was time to potty train Josh. Actually, I think it was because we had an appointment with Dr. Hoover and it was brought up. The doctor wasn't concerned as Josh's older brother waited until he was almost 3, and then decided he would be potty trained as a birthday gift to daddy. And so he was. But anyhow, Nathan thought the time was now for Josh. So he got to it.
Working on it.
Nathan decides to show him how it's done. Josh is playing with the big potty. And see the tatoo on his leg? Matt got them for both of them at the IWU bookstore in Marion (IWU Wildcat) and they lasted forever!
Flushing the pee.
Now Josh is excited.
A little coaching.
Some reading. (Of course you know Nathan got him this book.)
Oh these guys make me laugh! Nathan was pretty consistent for a few days and Josh did pee several times. But they both lost interest and I had some clues that Josh wasn't quite ready to do it on his own yet, so unless I wanted to be the one who was trained (by telling him to go all of the time-this is what Dr. Hoover says), we're going to wait on it. At least until after to PA, or he turns 3, or Nathan decides it's time again...which he did just say yesterday!
