At Home in April

Nathan has been really getting into the "I Spy" books lately from the library.  It's really fun to do them all as a family before bed.  Here he is searching for items with daddy.

American Idol night.  We started watching a few weeks ago when Brittany said that one of the contestants looked like Josh!  So then we finished out the season to see Clark Beckham take 2nd place.

Master Bath

So we had our grout fixed in our Master Bath!  It's one of those things that we've always wanted done, but it took over 3 years to get it done!  We changed out some fixtures too.  The Grout Medic (who did the work) said it was one of the most difficult jobs he's ever done.  Whatever the previous people put on was really tough to remove!  He worked hard all day long!

The difference in the shower is unreal.  Granted, the lighting makes it look even worse, but still.

We were pleased to be able to do this and not redo all of the tile! We have plans some day to rip the carpet out too. And I put up a roman shade in the window that looks nice too. Just no pictures of that!

Early April

Not much to post here, but I was taking photos of our old Jeep covers (Matt bought new ones with his Christmas money) and so here's one of the Jeep.  We're really excited for nice weather and topless Jeep rides!!!

April Bike Ride & Nathan's Swimming Lessons

A warm April day called for a bike ride.  Someone ran into the wall and is nursing his wound.


He got a tiny bit of blood on his knee.


Nathan said, "this is where we went with Pappy."  I'm surprised he remembers.  He was really little when he was here with Pappy.






I've been selling things like crazy on a facebook mom's page.  It's been fun.  Who knew what people would pay for used shoes!


Nathan took swimming lessons every Saturday morning in April.  He loved it!















He passed. Now I guess there's another one to sign up for! I was impressed with Villa's program.
