Catching Up!

Here's the pictures from this past week! I need to get caught up before our trip to Pennsylvania because you KNOW I'll have lots from that :)

We got two big items from Diapers.com in the mail on the same day last week! By the way, Matt says every time he sees Diapers.com he thinks of last summer when Age asked Colin what he thought they should get for Uncle Matt & Aunt Sonya's baby. After a pause of hard thinking, Colin replies, "I think we should get them diapers from w-w-w-.-diapers.com!" ha ha. He's cute and pretty much on the money as to what a good gift is! :)

So our first item is a convertible carseat for Nathan. He is getting ever so close to needing to be out of his carrier so when Matt found a deal, we decided to order it. Here's Nathan giving it a try in our dining room.

And a pack 'n play! I tried to get out of buying one, but we decided that we needed to get one not only for traveling purposes but for the opportunity to put Nathan in it for short amount of time during the day while I take a shower, clean up a mess etc. So far it has been great!

I just dump some toys in there and he is good to go...otherwise, he just wants out :)

The best part...the boxes!

Later this night, Matt took this picture to show me that while I was at the gym, and Nathan was supposed to be sleeping, he figured up how to sit up in his crib and play!

He's really good at turning the pages.

And a few days later, on our way to some yard sales, installing and trying out the Recaro seat!

It takes up a lot of room rear facing because it is tall, but it's great forward facing. We like that it can go both ways so we can keep him safe longer. And it goes up to 70 lb and 50 inches, so hopefully this is the last car seat we buy for him!

We had his 9 month appointment a few days after getting this, and the good new is...he is still under 22lbs! So for at least 5 more ounces we can keep him in the carrier :)

On Sunday afternoon, we headed over to our pool. Nathan's first experience in an outdoor swimming pool.

Although I found it a bit cold at first, but he didn't seem to mind.

Splashin'

This is funny...he was splashing so much they both have looks on their faces like they are mad, but they are just trying to keep the water out of their eyes!
