Courtney's Visit

Nathan and I picked Courtney up from the airport last Friday. When we got home it was time for Nathan to eat! As you see it went well for Courtney :) See the video here.

That night we went to the Air Force Academy and later out to eat at Giuseppe's with Kyle and Jen and Jamin!

Saturday we visited the Olympic Training Center

Putting Nathan up here scared me a bit. And a random passerby. I think I probably made his arm red from holding on to him so tight.

Nathan was a good tourist

Matt and I simulating the Olympians. My husband is hilarious. But he is blocking the woman he is mocking. Rest assured he looks just like her!

Courtney joins in on the fun.

Dinner: Courtney with sushi, Matt with a burger. I had cereal. Do these choices say something about each of us?

Courtney bought me an awesome pair of jeans for my early birthday present!

We went to Colorado Mountain Brewery for dinner to celebrate Courtney being DEBT FREE in 2 weeks!!! Since we wouldn't be around for that glorious day of freedom, we wanted to celebrate with her here in Colorado. Matt and I are so proud of her for this accomplishment. We know it can be tough to delay gratification to pay off debt but it is so worth it. Way to go, Courtney! Less than a year from graduation and you don't owe anyone a thing! Isn't it nice to have that nursing degree paid for already? :)

Courtney, why on earth is your other hand nonchalantly resting under your head? He can't stand THAT well! And a better question...why am I taking a picture of this?!

Having fun before bed. We have a video of his high-pitched squealing here.

Courtney, Nathan and I visited the Broadmoor on Tuesday

There was a huge conference going on. Men and women in suits everywhere. We fit in perfectly. It was a good time.

Again with the no hands! I'm revoking her nannying license!

Wednesday morning at Courtney's hotel. Trying to get a quick family picture in. We don't get these much. Not great, but you can't blame us for trying.

Glad you had a safe trip home Courtney. Thanks for visiting. I hope you make it through your five, 12 hour days! Nathan got his full 12 hours of sleep last night :) Just as long as one of your shifts!

Well Sonya while one hand was relaxing the other hand was securely holding your son in place so have no fear he was well taken care of!

Don't we do crazy things when we are with that cute little guy. So much fun was had by all. I am sure Courtney is missing all of you.

It's nice to know he was secure, Courtney :) In my rush to get this post up I completely forgot to state why we were at CO Mtn Brewery! See the post for an update. And congrats again, Court :)

Way to go Courtney!! We have amazing grand kids that know how to save money and get ahead. I love the pictures of you and Nathan Courtney, especially the one where he is in your hair.
