We bravely headed to PA at the beginning of December with two young boys... It was LONG trip from the drive to Denver, parking a car, dropping off baggage, going through security, getting on the train to our terminal, diaper changing, eating, diaper changing again, waiting of our slightly delayed flight, boarding the plane and flying for 3 plus hours to Baltimore where we did the whole thing again and got a rental car to drive the 2.5 hour drive to my little hometown! Whew! Just remembering this day there and back makes me tired!
Luckily, the flight itself was great. Nathan was at the age where he really enjoyed the whole experience of taking off and airplanes in general. Josh was young enough to sleep most of the flight too!
Here's some shots of our trip out! Nathan loving the shuttle ride.
All of our gear before dropping some off at baggage claim!
Yes...I even captured diaper changes in the family restroom.
Thank you, Lord, for family restrooms.
On the train to our terminal.
Loving the compact double stroller.
Lunch and watching planes take off.
Josh taking a nap while we wait for our flight. Nathan...being Nathan.
Matt taking Nathan for several laps!
And we're up!
In Baltimore. Nathan made a friend named Drew. He was an Eagles fan so Matt figured he was safe. ha! No we were right with him the whole time while Nathan held Drew's hand off the plane all the way to baggage claim! He is a people person! No doubt about that.
Waiting to bus to the rental car place.
Nathan helping daddy.
After going back and forth with the rental guy, he finally gave us a
free upgrade. Our stroller wouldn't fit in the small, affordable car we
rented. Once he was worn down and Josh was crying, he pointed to the minivan sitting right next to
us and he said "how about I just give you this one?" "Okay!' Nathan was thrilled with the wheels. We were happy to have room!
And we made it to Grandma's house! Up to bed we go...
Dinner with cuz Colin at one of our favorite eatery's!
Meeting Pap Berry...something every child should be lucky enough to do :)
Lots of love from this pappy too...
Trying to see who can get Josh to smile first!
Matt and I's date night in downtown Selinsgrove!
Our hot rod for the week.
Cute ice cream shop we stopped at.
Good old Kleen Mist!
Just a few days into our trip we visited Pap & Gram. Not even a half hour after we arrived at their house Matt and Nathan took a tumble down the stairs. Matt slipped off the first step going down to their basement. This landed us at the urgent care as Nathan's pain did not seem to be improving and he usually has a pretty good tolerance for pain. He was so tired on the way to the Urgent Care and would wake up from his nap in the car crying in pain. :(
I felt so bad for him.
Juice and fruit snacks always help!
They told us it was not fractured and would be better in a few days. He might even wake up in the morning walking on it.
We spent the rest of the trip believing his leg was not fractured, when that did not end up being the case at all, but more on that later!

Love all of Nathans different expressions too. He seems to enjoy himself very much with your family especially his cousin and his grandpa. Love him so much. G.J.
