Witt Vacation 5- Final Days

On Friday morning, Dad & Nicole got up to hike a fourteener! Mount Sherman, I believe. The rest of us stayed in Keystone. Here's grandpa with Nathan before we headed to the little town of Keystone.
Photobucket
Grandma & Grandpa J hadn't been there yet and we wanted to do shopping since everything was closed the other night.

Sitting on the street. Can you tell what Grandma J is doing?
Photobucket

She's showing of her new ring that Grandpa bought her! There was a jewelry store that was going out of business with prices up to 75% off! Her wedding ring got accidentally left at home, so why not?
Photobucket
It really was quite beautiful.

Nathan's Nana got him his very own Camelbak water bottle! His says "Keystone" on it. He loves it.
Photobucket

Daddy put his Li'l Zoomers birthday gift together for him.
Photobucket
He likes to stop the track and throw things other than cars on it :)

Testing for placement of camera on the hot tub for a family photo!

All wearing our new Colorado sweatshirts courtesy of Dad & Mom Witt! Thanks!!
Photobucket
Aren't we a cute family?

Everyone's says Breckenridge except for me and Matt's. Ours is the Colorado state flag. Although, you can't even see the front of Matt's, so I look like the oddball!!
Photobucket
Nathan's Breckenridge zip hoodie is super cute!

Miss you guys!

Me and my love.

Since having a kiddo, this shot doesn't happen as often!

There he is! He does add something to our pictures :)
Photobucket

Cute mountain girl.

That night, Friday, we celebrated Nicole's 25th Birthday...which was the following Monday on August 29th. We went to this nice restaurant in Keystone and ate outside.
Photobucket
A mid-westerner was nice enough to take our picture for us!

Nathan chowed down. Not too different than usual!
Photobucket

Then, gifts for Nicole!
Photobucket
Don't you love the artistic work on her package? Grandpa J did that! I was highly impressed.

They got her a cute dish set.
Photobucket

We got her this Colorado t-shirt she had been wanting. Here she is posing with her early birthday presents under her spectacular banner!
Photobucket
All we had to do was add and "i" in between the last N in NATHAN and COLE...sweet!

Saturday morning before the family heads back East. Remember how I said in an earlier post that Grandpa J was trying to get Nathan to share his food with him?
Photobucket

He succeeded!!!
Photobucket
Now every time Nathan eats he pushes his food out to us with a little grunt (as if to say, "here!"). We find ourselves saying, "No, you eat it!" a lot! :) ha ha. It's really cute.

Getting some last cuddle time in with his Grandma J.

"So big!"with his Papa.
Photobucket

"Yayyy!" He always likes a good celebration of everything :)

Record time getting things ready to go!

Last chance to play with his Nana.
Photobucket

He is totally enamored with these blocks. Nana showing him how it works.
Photobucket
My mom got them awhile ago and was afraid they would be too young for him by one, but he will sit forever and just poke and spin the things on it! I love it, it's perfect for when I am showering and he is in his pack 'n play.

This kid drinks a lot of water!
Photobucket

Loading up and saying good-byes!
Photobucket

Aww, I love this one.
Photobucket

He had a good time with his Aunt Cole. He even fell asleep in her arms on Wednesday while Grandma J was singing to him! Now that is impressive :)

The set up of our room in Keystone worked really well.
Photobucket
You can see Nathan's pack'n play by the window. We set up his monitor there as well as his music that he sleeps with. With the noise from the fan in the bathroom it drowned the rest of the house noise out for naps. Then at night, he slept for 3-4 hours on his own and ended up waking up and sleeping in bed with us. Thankfully, this trend did not continue once we got home. And it was fun because it was just that week! We would wake up and see him sprawled out between us and just smile at each other. He was so cute.

We were able to convert the dresser into a changing table which worked really well too. Because when we try to change him on the floor or bed he tends to move around and try to get up.
Photobucket
It was really nice for all of us to have our own bathrooms too. Excellent accomodations!

The deck where the hot tub was.
Photobucket

Nice view!
Photobucket

Matt, Nathan and I left before 8 that evening. It was nice to relax and take our time packing up and finishing up food! Plus, Matt and I got a much needed nap in. And Nathan had THREE naps that day and then slept most of the way home!

My boys in the corner ready to go! :)

A good family vacation comes to and end. Thanks everyone for making the trip out. It was good to see you.

i LOVE the pictures of Nathan with Grandpa J. I am reading a book where the girl calls her grandpa "Grandpap" I like that for Grandpa J. Nathan could call us G.G. and Grandpap. how does that sound? The family picture turned out good. We loved our time with you three. Thanks for a wonderful week Ed. G.G.
