Wednesday was pretty low key. Dad & Mom Witt went for a long drive through the mountains and the rest of us hung out at the house most of the day. Matt and I did take a quick bike ride in the morning while Nicole watched Nathan for us :)
Grandma J learned pretty quickly that her new Camelbak water bottle could lure Nathan her way :)
Dinner after meeting up with Dad & Mom Witt at the Silverthorne Outlets. It was Matt & I's night to cook!
The girls gave us our belated birthday present.
They got us a helicopter ride in Colorado Springs!! Yeah...I think I'll take a late gift every year :) We were completely surprised and really excited for that date night!

That night, after Grandpa & Grandma J went to bed, the rest of us took a walk to Keystone. Matt is lighting the way for us with his head lamp. I think my parents got this for him a few Christmas's ago. He loves it. Must be a guy thing.
Love these chairs sitting out on the street in Keystone. Cars and bike aren't allowed to drive through the streets. It's for walkers only! Very cute little town and beautiful all lit up at night.
My boys.
The 3 of us.
This is the Keystone logo.
Lovin' on my sisters!

I tried this shot several times with not a lot of success! So the quality is not great. But you get the picture: Lovebirds in the middle of the lighted trees!
So Thursday was Nathan's 1st birthday! We started out his big day with a bike ride. Here he is ready to go in Jamin's bike trailer.
Well, now he is ready to go. We thought the doggy neck pillow would be helpful, but it pushed him forward to much.
Matt & I had our bikes along with us. Everyone else rented from this nice shop in Breckenridge. We started on the trail in Breckenridge that headed towards Frisco.
Matt & Nathan are off!
Nicole and I apparently are not.
In a minute we will be, after our picture!
Family shot on the way back towards Breckenridge! Thank goodness for posts to balance my camera on :)
Mom took one this time. You can see the mountains better in this one.
Stopped at this little store on the way back that had seats and water for weary bikers!
Pretty nice!
Siblings...yep, I'm putting myself in this group. That's what marriage does for you!
Nathan did great! He slept for a half hour or more and the rest of the trip he just took in the scenery :) We biked for about 2 hours.
On the way back to the house for Nathan's birthday celebration (after lunch and a nap and a bath)! He's playing peekaboo with Grandma & I. "Where's Nathan?"
"Peek-a-boo!!!"
The kid loves this game :)
And his Grandma Johnson.
Pictures of his birthday celebration coming up next!
