Witt Family Vacation- Day in Breck

We got back this Saturday from a fabulous week in Keystone, Colorado with the Witts! We are exhausted (how does that always happen after vacation?) and trying to get back into the swing of things! I, of course, have a TON of pictures. So I'm going to break it up into parts as well as just post the highlights. I will have to post all of the pictures either on Facebook or Windows Live for your viewing pleasure after I am done with the blog posts. (Well, at least for the family's viewing pleasure, that way I won't bore the rest of you on the blog since you don't want to look at 300 plus pics!)

So...here we go!

Packing things up on Sunday morning to head up to Keystone and meet Dad & Mom Witt, Nicole, Courtney and Grandpa & Grandma Johnson.

Nathan enjoyed crawling into our suitcases and fining all sorts of treasures.

We stayed at Kyle's parents home in Keystone. They rent this gorgeous home in the mountains out to vacationers.

Keystone is just 15 minutes away from Breckenridge.

Grandpa J was so cute. He got down on the floor to play with Nathan!


And of course, Ipad time with Nana (this is the newly decided name for Matt's mom). Nathan probably LOVES that he is allowed to touch a computer!

We had a low key night catching up with the family. Pizza at "Pizza 101", a delicious take out in Keystone. Yum.

Monday we went into Breckenridge. We rode the gondola up the mountain! It was free! (thanks for the tip, Jen)

"Worker" on the way up. He admitted that he has a pretty sweet life! He was just relaxing in the sun as we rode by him.


This one makes Matt and I laugh every time. Just chillin' with his Aunt Court.


I love this one. At the top of the mountain, Nathan with his Nana and Grandma J (or GG, I think she decided on. It's hard for me to make the switch, I'm used to her as Grandma J!)

The Breckenridge Fun Park is where we got off of the gondola. Dad, Matt, Courtney, Nicole and I rode this Gold Runner Coaster down part of the mountain. It was a sweet ride.


Going back down. Me and Nicole...it's her birthday today! August 29th and 25 years old. Quarter of a century...Happy Birthday, lady :)


After the gondola ride we went into downtown Breck for some shopping! Dad & Mom Witt bought us all Breckenridge/Colorado sweatshirts. Pics of this to come later. Nathan even got one! Grandma & Grandpa J enjoying downtown Breck.


Here we are about ready to head back to Keystone. Nathan riding down the slide with his Aunt Cole.


What better way to end the day then with a soak in the hot tub!


We were in it until we looked like prunes!
