The last few weeks of January have been fun! We had some cold weather when Nathan and I just hung out indoors and some warm sunshine when we got to venture out. And on January 25th, Nathan turned 5 months old. Here's some shots of the last couple of weeks.
Playing with his hippo from Andrea, my co-worker at Encompass.
Just being silly.
One tooth in and another starting to break through.
They are both out now but I haven't taken any new pictures of the progress!
Hanging out with daddy.
Helping daddy with documentation after work.
Enough work! Let's play :)
5 months old
Diaper time!
Photo shoot in John Deere t-shirt from my Uncle John! He said he wanted Nathan to know what a good tractor was at an early age :) (My dad has a Kubota tractor)
Sixty some degree weather last Friday! Time for a walk :) Mr. Monkey came with.
Some shades just in case. He immediately pulled them down and started licking them :)
Got them to stay on! He fell asleep shortly after :)
It was a great walk! But apparently, I am not in walking shape. Achilles tendon acted up. It never even made it's presence known to me in the past. But it said "hello" this weekend. My handy husband has me all taped up now...I think his additional education was officially worth the money now :)
Always getting into technology with daddy
We probably will pay for this later when his "banging" on the keys could do some damage.
Oh well, later is another day. For now, it is totally cute!

Flipped around?
When I put Nathan down to bed last night his head was on the left end of the crib. Like this:
With his swaddler on just like this too...with his arms out.
This morning, close to six, I went in to feed him and found him with his head on the right end of the crib! He was peeking out from behind his monkey :) He had turned himself all of the way around! ha ha. Too bad I missed those antics on the video monitor! He must have gotten quite the workout last night :) It's amazing how well he can scoot himself around anymore.

Nursery
Nathan's room is coming along! I thought I would post a few pictures of the progress. I guess we are pretty much finished actually. Except in these pictures and video I don't have his name above the bookshelf between the closet doors.
And yes, Nathan is laying on the changing table in these pictures :)
I was waiting to get some good pictures of him that match his nursery. And thanks to Jessie, we got it done! She took the adorable photos on the walls. Thanks, Jessie!
His hand and foot prints from when he was about a month old.
Maternity picture (also by Jessie)
Yes you are!!!! (the cutest, that is)
And here is a video tour with Nathan's added commentary.

Photo Shoot for Grandma J
As promised Grandma Johnson, here are some pictures of Nathan in your Christmas gift to him. It fits him well now!
He got tired of sitting up...he wanted to lay down!
Licking his vest...yum!http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif
Ha ha. Not his happiest look!
We have a video of him also in this outfit. Check it out here.

Don't Miss these Posts!
The Beginning of 2011
Last week I started doing some work for Encompass. Nathan and I visited a few accounts who had not gotten to meet him yet! We also went into the office a few times. They LOVE it when Nathan comes to visit! Liz (HR) is one of his favorites :)
He likes Jim, our administrator, too. I was ready to leave and started looking around the office for my son. They told me he was with Jim. I come into his office to find Nathan sitting on his lap and Jim talking through how to sign his name on a piece of paper! It was cute. Here they are playing on the floor.
The little man in his crib!
Nathan has been getting stuffed up because of how dry it is in Colorado. So we picked up a humidifier for him at Target. Isn't this the cutest humidifier you have ever seen? It sprays a cool mist out of the elephant's trunk!
This was the outfit he wore for our marketing day. It got a lot of laughs. Thanks Jessie!
With Daddy after both of their work days :)
Nathan had his 4 month appointment last Friday. 90th percentile for his height (26.5"). 95th for his weight (18lb 14 oz). Big boy! And of course, the dreaded shots.
He didn't seem to be bothered by them for the rest of the day, thankfully. The doctor noted that he was impressed with his "trunk" strength.
Playing in his bumbo...in another super cute outfit from Jessie! She thought he could wear this awhile down the road...it's a 12 month sleeper. Nope, he's in it now :)
Nathan was watching football upside down...so daddy decided to join him. Silly boys.
Better late than never for the family Christmas photos? We took this after church on Sunday. And then took the Christmas decorations down!
Capturing Nathan's "bald spot".
Last Eagles game of the year...unfortunately. They lost in their first playoff game to the Packers. And Nathan was ready in his gear to watch them go all the way to the Super Bowl!
