The week after our Wagon Trails BBQ, the boys and I went over to the couple's home that we met!  Chris usually works from home but had some work to do outside of the home, so Jamie (mom), Jordyn, Jayden and the 3 of us hung out for a few hours.  Nathan and Jordyn played on the slide and sandbox and with all sorts of toys upstairs and in the basement.  Here they are breaking for a snack :)


Bike ride to Dion's...to get a gift card for our neighbors across the street that have been fighting sickness.  2 boys close to our boys ages.  Parents are really nice!  Getting ready to go.

My handsome hubby on our actual anniversary day, Monday. We were going to go to a Mexican restaurant and get fried ice cream. After a few meltdowns from our kids we decided to opt for McDonalds :)


And of course we ended up here in the play land watching them run (and crawl) around. Happy 7 years...there's no one else I'd rather be taking the kids to McDonalds with than you! :)

I was going to go to the mall this past Friday night and quickly return some things by myself. Well, Nathan wanted to come so we made it a Nathan & Mommy date night. Needless to say, it wasn't "quick"! We went thru the McDonalds drive thru to grab a quick bite to eat only to end up having to go inside in the rain to tell them the order got mixed up and get it corrected. Then we had to make a run for it in the pouring down rain/thunderstorm into the mall...and right back out again because I forgot a receipt in the car! After he was really good for the returns and shopping I figured a treat was in order. We always see this train driving around the mall and he loves it. So I told him we could ride it.


He had to check out every car before deciding what color he wanted to ride in.

This kid is SO messy when he eats, it's unbelievable.  It's not terrible in this picture, but it can get that way!  He is a lot different then "Mr. Clean" Nathan!
