On Saturday, we went to our neighborhood Easter Egg hunt, grilled outside and went to our Easter service in the evening. We were so grateful for some beautiful weather!
Last year, we were just a few minutes late for the Easter egg hunt and the eggs were all gone! So this year, we tried really hard to be on time! (This is harder than you might think these days.) Even with arriving a little early, we could see the kids swarming to get the eggs as we were getting close! Thankfully, there were still eggs left for Nathan to find.
Look at the load this little boy has! His age is why they go so fast :)
Help from daddy!
Nice Wagon Trails volunteer making sure Josh got an egg too.
This family showed up just a few minutes after eleven and said, "is it over?" We felt so bad for them because we know how it feels to spend all that time getting the kids ready and out of the house only to arrive and find out you missed it! This is just after Nathan plopped an egg in the little girl's basket so she didn't leave empty-handed.
Checking out his loot.
Going outside to grill some turkey burgers.
Peek!
Ahhh. The sun feels good!
Tasting his burger.
And tasting daddy's veggies.
Chatting with mommy.
Laughing at Nathan.
I can't remember what he did but I remember being amused.
I asked him earlier for a kiss and he said "no". I had forgotten all about it and he came back awhile later saying he wanted to kiss mommy!
Trying to show Nathan how to do a push-up.
"Hey you turkey!"
I saw this sight...
...and asked Nathan what doggy was doing. He said he was taking a nap.
Later when we went inside and Matt turned the sprinklers on (and Nathan wanted to watch from the window)...
I remembered this guy...
Oops. Doggy had a nice bath in the washing machine after this because his outside shower made him stinky!
Nathan getting comfortable watching the grass get watered.
Hi Mr. President! You're looking quite relaxed at the basketball game.
That evening before the Easter service!
Nathan ditched the hat for this one.
We had to bribe him with Easter candy to stop getting shots like this...
Trying to throw his hat again so I tried it on for size.
My handsome boys.
Nathan was a hit in church. It was so cute how many smiles and pointing and comments he got with that hat!
I always wore hats on Easter Sunday but I guess people don't do that a lot anymore!
At Panera Bread after church.
More smiles from the crowds.
This is Nathan's new favorite restaurant. He likes the fruit cups. How can I argue with that?

I love how Nathan has that dog with him everywhere. Glad he got dry before church time. Also love how Josh plays with his feet. I love his little feet and would like to get a hold of them.
Looks like Matt has a mashed nail on his finger. Your Easter pictures were great, all of them.
I forgot something. Love your sun glasses Nathan. You are a very dashing little guy.
I guess it was Matt's thumb that has the owie not his finger.
