This weekend, I got to do a quick photo shoot with adorable Jamin since we ran out of light the other week!
Jen has been wanting some pictures by this barn for a long time. Kyle said we were making her dream come true :) She was right, it WAS a cool barn.
How cute is he? I love his hair blowing up in the wind :)
He had to maneuver through a lot of weeds!
Love his blue eyes!
Looking at his mama :)
Traded for Nathan's football because an unfamiliar toy is always more fun!
I love his expression in this one. When Jamin wants something he goes, "Ooh, ooh, ooh!"
Nathan, this is Jamin's shoot! These two are too cute together!
Time to go home.
Jen (or anyone else who cares!), if you want to see the rest of the pics, check them out below. If you enlarge it to full screen they are easier to see, but not full quality.

Nathan goes to Jamin's
On Monday, I went into the office from one until close to answer phones, check faxes, etc. so that office staff could attend Brayden Magur's funeral service. The Director of Nursing from Pueblo was there with me also handling the clinical issues and questions that came in!
JEN was a lifesaver and watched Nathan for me! Jim, our Administrator, said I could bring Nathan to the office with me, but I was concerned I would have hard time accomplishing everything I would need to running after a one year old :) By the end of the day, after seeing everything I needed to work through, I knew I did the right thing!
Lucky for all of you (and me!) Jen put a post on her blog of the fun those boys had on Monday! Check it out here.
Thank you so much, Jen! I am so grateful for you and your friendship. Our whole family(the 3 of us) are so blessed to know you, Kyle & Jamin! Love you, friend.

Horsey, Piggy & Rocky
Last weekend Mommy giving Nathan a Horsey ride! He loves it.
Even when he falls off :)
Nathan climbed up onto the dishwasher today. Jen asked me months ago if Nathan does this because I guess Jamin does too. And Matt has claimed in the past Nathan has, but never in front of his mommy...until today!
The kid loves all kitchen utensils, bowls, cups etc. He saw something he wanted and went for it. I wonder what the weight limit for the door is?
We went to Children's Place tonight to buy Nathan a few things. There were sales and coupons on top of that! We got a stuffed animal for our purchase. Nathan was thrilled. And of course, it was a monkey! We are calling him "Rocky" because he has so many monkey stuffed animals right now. And why Rocky? No great reason except Matt didn't like my idea of calling him "Scarfy" since he was wearing a scarf. So I came up with Rocky and asked Matt if that was manly enough . He thought it was :)
Nathan just loves putting coins in his piggy bank from his Pappy & Grandma. He got it shortly after he was born last year. Mom searched for it because they got Colin the same one when he was two and he loved it! And well, I loved it. And I wanted one for Nathan :)
Nicole, guess where we found it? None other than Little Richard's Toystore in downtown Colorado Springs! I can still remember Colin saying "My piggy, my piggy bank!" when he unwrapped it at Christmas! :) It was SO adorable. Look, Matt found the video clip!
It's so nice because it isn't breakable, it's kind of a rubbery material. So a child can play with it and learn the valuable life skill of saving!
So the other night, Nathan decided to pull the piggy bank off of the shelf himself. This is no easy feat as it is quite heavy. And despite it's weight, he insists of trying to pick it up and carry it around. Here's a video clip of him getting it down the other night before bed. He was very tired as you will see in the end of the clip. You will get to hear his pathetic little, "Uh-uh, Uh-uh" cry" :) And by the way, it looks like I knocked the bank down off the shelf at the end of the video, but I didn't, that was him. I was just pulling the curtain back.
So, now he seems to think this is part of his bedtime routine. He pulls the bank off of the shelf and insists we pull money out of it from the bottom so he can put it in the slot! This is from tonight.
His face is red because he is struggling with the weight of it.
It's so funny how he purses his lips when he is concentrating.
Watch out, Papa & Nana, he may empty you of your pocket change when you are out here for Thanksgiving! He's hard to say no to :)
Matt made him a cape with another pair of PJ's. Jessie got these for him in 24 months a year ago! I can't believe he is almost in them!
Even when he falls off :)

Andrew James Wittleder Has Arrived!
Mark & Rosie, Matt's brother and his wife, had their very first child on November 3rd! He is such a cutie. His name is Andrew James Wittleder, and they will call him Drew. We are so thankful that the delivery went great and everyone is doing well.
Nathan is excited that he has another cousin! Well, he doesn't realize it yet, but he will be :) Check him out!
Happy, beautiful family...
I stole these pictures from my mother 'n law's blog. So for more pictures, details and information about his unique birth story and ANOTHER cousin...read here. She did such a great job, why redo her good work? :)

Nathan in the Snow
So we had another snow storm roll in yesterday. I figured I should get Nathan all bundled up and take him out in it this time :) Here are some highlights:
This was funny. He fell over and couldn't really get back up :) I tried to show him how to do a snow angel but he wasn't too impressed!
You can see him walking around in the snow here... and falling, and giving a little fake cry :)
Some with his mama. I love this kid.
Nice. Thanks Nathan for the wet snow on my cheek :)
Love his goofy little grin.
He was ready to go back in. Moving around in that gear, in the snow, is tough work!
Of course once he was in, he wanted to go back out.
In the warmth of our home.
Hey! You're dragging snow all over the apartment!
I really love him in this hat.
Once daddy got home we had to go out for dinner to Subway. We always get an itch to go out to eat and drive in the snow after a storm. Tradition, I guess. I think I learned this from my parents! We went to Target and picked up some firelogs...and Justin Bieber Christmas cd! ha ha. I know what you're going to say...it's too early for Christmas music! Well, we like to enjoy it longer than just a few weeks!
Here are some pics from later that night. Nathan found a lemon in the fridge so daddy let him have it. He carried it all through the apartment, munching on it. He actually liked it!
Watching daddy get the fire going.
Still with the lemon...
