The Bowsers, well 5 out of 7 of them, passed through Colorado Springs on their summer vacation this summer! Matt met the Bowser family in Fort Dodge, Iowa, where he grew up before his family moved to Indianapolis when he was 16. They are such a neat family with amazing parents, Dave & Mary. I know this family was missed a lot by Matt's family when they moved to Indy. Thankfully, weddings, vacations and other events still bring the two families together every so often. And we were delighted to get to see them as they passed through Colorado. Stephen, who is a freshman in college, shadowed Matt at work on Thursday to get a feel for Physical Therapy. Stephen is not sure yet if he wants to pursue that field, but is interested in finding out more about PT as a career option. The ladies at Colonial Columns LOVED having Stephen there for a day!

We went to the Elephant Bar! Mary, Deb (Matt's mom) and I went here when they came out to visit me in the Springs in 2004. I was taking classes at Focus on the Family that Fall semester. We thought we would re-live the fun! And Matt loves this place. Stephen is on the left in the back.
