This was a few weeks ago in July.
We bought root kill.
Look at it popping out of the place it broke the surface of our path!
Matt shaved down the stump and applied the root/stump kill to it as well. You're supposed to do it when it is freshly cut so we thought it wouldn't hurt to try this.
I cut the top of so I could spray the root kill on a fresh cut. It's suppose to go through the plant and down to the root...to kill it.
It certainly seems to be helping! Some new shoots but not nearly as bad. We'll keep doing this. I did email the city again with these pics asking when they are going to dig the stump out and fix our wall. No word back. Crazy that it was April when they came out to measure for stump removal.
