Cars, Cars, Cars

The time has come...to sell the Mazda 626.

It's been good to us. It got Matt through PT school and beyond! But it has not been great for Matt's new job of traveling 50 plus miles everyday to see his homecare patients. Thankfully, God granted us some more time to find the right vehicle for our next stage of life (parents of a baby) by providing a company vehicle at the end of July. It was such a blessing as we were not finding the car we were looking for and didn't want to rush into something we didn't really want. Here is his company car.

So Matt is listing his Mazda to sell because this past Monday we finally found our baby mobile! We bought a 2006 Rav4 with less than 12K miles. It was definitely the biggest purchase we have made yet as a married couple and we are happy with our decision. Writing the check didn't even hurt!

Stroller fits in the back with room to spare!

And a feature we loved...the extra storage underneath. There is even another opening behind this one, as well as storage compartments on each side in the back. This is really important to us with living in an apartment because space is VERY limited! A garage or basement would be nice right now...especially with all of the baby gear coming into our home :)

All ready for the hospital trip!

Looks like a nice vehicle for you to drive to work Matt. I can't believe how much storage you have in the new vehicle. Sure will be nice for all the baby gear. Hope your Mazda sells quickly for you and glad it lasted to the very end.

I know! The storage is great. And the Mazda sold VERY quickly. Matt got a call within a half hour of posting it, the guy came over right away and drove away with it! We sold it for 1200...which we are very happy with. You should have heard Matt telling him about all of the car's issues, you'd think he was trying to talk him out of it! We feel very blessed.

I like the new wheels! All that's missing is the hydraulics, and spinner wheels and you'll be all set.

I couldn't get on the baby blog to post a comment about the car. It is a very nice looking baby mobile. Looks very comfortable too. God is good, all the time. Love you, Grandma

Yeah Mark, maybe if we still lived in 'Little Chicago'. Not to mention it would sound a little silly with Colbie Caillat blasting out of the sound system in sync with the spinners.

You are right Grandma, God is very good. It came just in time
