Cowboy Larry's & Jonah's Party

At the end of September the VanHorn's invited and paid for us to attend a session with Cowboy Larry!  It was Nathan & Grady's birthday gifts from last year from Jamin.  Last year Cowboy Larry unexpectedly lost his wife to cancer and took a break from these sessions.  It was really sweet of him to agree to do his lesson (horse riding & spiritual application) with the boys!  As well as a really cool craft.  Nathan loved it!  It was an awesome gift!

After cowboy Larry's we all headed to Andrew's parent's home for Jonah's 2nd birthday!


Jonah's grandpa made a few calls and got a fire truck to come...to the surprise of everyone! Jonah LOVES fire trucks.

Josh's 2nd Birthday

Our sweet boy turned 2 on September 12th!  Nathan bringing his gift for Josh to his room.   Nathan had some money from Grandpa & Grandma J that he used to buy Josh matchbox cars.

Daddy had a cancellation and was able to meet up with us!  How cool is that?  We had pizza in Whit's End Soda Shoppe.  Nice face Nathan.


Nathan's very first time down the slide!!!  This lady double checked his height at the top (a man let him up at the bottom).  She was surprised!  She said not many 4 year olds are tall enough for the slide.


He loved it the first time down.  The second time he wasn't as thrilled...I'm not exactly sure why.

Cake time!  He actually chose this one at Walmart.  I thought..."why not?" It was a steal of a deal.


We put his tractor on it that nana got him over the summer and used the green icing from Nathan's cake!


And the candy balls we had more of from Nathan's cake.  It was really fun for them to decorate.
