Videos

Grandma Johnson let me know the videos were not allowing you all to see them.  The should be working now.  Here is a link to February videos.

Also, this little man is 18 months today (March 12).  Going to the doctor's in the morning!

Oh Nathan!

Might as well stay up to date on photos!

You never know what you're going to get with this kiddo! Here's some photos of Nathan from the last few days.  One morning I got up to find Nathan sitting on the couch, playing on the iPad, in a t-shirt, shorts, neck tie, fedora and crazy striped socks from Aunt Age from Christmas 2011 (he refuses to part with them even though they are small!)  Yes, he loves to dress himself.  As you can see, he's grumpy too.  He didn't want his picture taken!

Clearly the child needs some breakfast.

Until Josh enters...

It's hard not to smile when Josh is around!

Another night, another funny place/position to find Nathan on his bed!

He doesn't even look comfortable!

Nana sent Nathan a really cool alphabet/magnet activity she made for him!

He places all of the dots on the circles...matching the colors up.  And each page (that she laminated) is a different letter of the alphabet!

Too cool.  Trying not cooperate for a photo.

The dots have magnets glued to them and you place the two-sided sheets on the cookie tray to make the magnets work.

Giving up.  There's a smile!

And now he's a ham for the camera!

Thanks Mom Witt!  Very cool, no-mess, educational fun!  He loves it.  Every morning he comes into my room, gets close to our bed and wakes me up with the "H is for Heart" sheet filled out in colored dots as he announces "I BUV YOU, Mommy!!!!"   I suppose there are worse ways to wake up. :)

Since he was dressed in his Eagles gear, he insisted that I wear my pink Eagles hat too.

Funny faces!

End of February

Random warm day outside. I heard Nathan giggling and then saying, "Josh put his hand print in the snow!" I went over to look at Nathan had added his to the small patch of snow in the corner of our yard.

Looking for toys in their "toy box".

This is out on the path.  There's a place close to us that just dead ends and they found a big hole in the dirt to play in!

It delighted them both.  Here's a video of them playing.

Nathan asking me if there was dirt on his bottom!

Yep!  Sure is!

Peeking in the neighbors back yard.  I told them they couldn't do that!  Well, after I told Nathan to not throw trash in there first!  He found a piece of paper that was bothering him and assumed it was theirs so he threw it in between the gate crack before I knew what was happening!

Running back home.

Josh got a prick in his hand from this bush/tree.

I found it bleeding a few minutes later.

On the trail right outside of our backyard.  He didn't want to go in.  See his dirt mustache?  I guarantee you he was eating the dirt!

We found Nathan like this one night before we went to bed!  He fell out!

Didn't seem to bother him much. ha ha   It's nice having a bed low to the ground :)  We picked him up and put him back in.

Mommy making Jen's chicken corn chowder in the crockpot.

Nathan making his too...for Ashley.  We had small group that night and if possible like to make sure she gets some dinner while she watches the boys!

He had some additions to the soup that I did not...

...ketchup & mustard!  I actually think he was calling that his "taco seasoning" and something else I put in it.  He also has strawberries in the soup dish for Ashley along with a napkin.  Don't you love how his slotted spoon is almost identical to mine?

Playing "Dentist" one night.  This all started because we got coupons in the mail.  We picked 4 out for him to put in his "wallet" along with play money we made and an empty Sam's gift card he calls his "Sam's card".  Anyway, the coupons were for bowling, dentist, tires and...I can't remember the 4th!  So we acted them all out where he came to receive a service and pay for it.  Daddy made a good dentist!  Tough though! :)  Nathan absolutely loved it.  Here's a video.

Teaching him to floss.

Pulling a tooth out with pliers!  Yikes.  He better not traumatize him since I need to get him the dentist :)

Check out Josh breathing in the anesthesia!

Checking his teeth!

Oh dear.  Nathan wants to work on Josh!

Needs his gloves.

Josh says, " What are these pliers for!?"

Mommy's turn.

One night when Daddy was putting a new smoke detector up.

Josh is a climber.  Always wants up when Daddy's working.

What?

Josh reached out and pulled the door in.

Time to switch out Josh's.  And up he goes again!

Here's a random video from earlier in the month. I think Super Bowl Sunday.
